NOCSAR

Membership Requirements


 

Regular Members

 

Regular Membership is open to any persons actively involved in search and rescue as a Search and Rescue Dog Team.  In order to become a regular member you must complete certification through NOCSAR, and submit a completed Federal Background Investigation.  This is required in order to protect the community we serve.  The Background Investigation must be presented at the Member's first certification.  After this, the Member will be required to re-submit a new Background Investigation every 3 years.  This Background Investigation is not required for current Law Enforcement Officers.

 

Associate Members

 

Associate Membership is open to anyone to include observers, helpers, support personnel and persons interested in the support of the Search and Rescue community. Associate members enjoy all the same privileges as Regular Members, except for the right to vote or serve on the Executive Board. 

 

Dues

 

Annual NOCSAR membership dues are $40.00 from January 1 through December 31.
