Linda Uihlein
Vice President
Linda Uihlein has been a resident of Virginia since 1980. That summer she became a Virginia EMT and has been an active volunteer in local rescue and fire companies. She is a Life Member of the Earlysville Volunteer Fire Company.
Linda has been involved in K9 Search and Rescue since 1993. Her canine trainees have been Bouvier des Flandres and Jack Russell Terriers for Air Scent, First Responder, Trailing, and Cadaver work.
Linda participates in at least 2 search and rescue seminars a year in different parts of the country and with different instructors. She has also been very active in continuing education relating to fire, rescue, and search and rescue. She has assisted the instructors in both air scent and cadaver seminars.
Linda has been a past member of two national search and rescue organizations, and is currently a member of a national search and rescue organization and has served one term on its Board.
Linda has participated in searches in several states and worked in most of the roles required in a search.
Linda earned her degree in Psychology and has been self-employed for 26 years.
